Five AO3 Invite codes for Jack-Built!
1st-Jul-2011 11:28 am
Hello all!

Yes, it's me again. ;)

In an effort to plug The House That Jack Built Collection over at Archive of Our Own (and to plug the archive in general, because it's great), I recently asked for five (5) AO3 invite codes to distribute to authors on this LJ community.

They are now available for claiming by the first five commenters on this post. Invite codes allow users to immediately create accounts for the AO3 open beta (rather than request a code and wait for it to be sent). Also, you don't have to intend to post your Jack-Built stories to AO3 - this is just a for-fun thing that will help you enjoy the archive more quickly in any way you wish.

All comments are screened, so a claimed code will be yours and yours alone. I will continue to update this post on the number of codes available until they've all been distributed or it's clear that no one is interested anymore, whichever comes first.

There are 5 4 3 codes still available.

I'm so sorry to get back to you so late - I have shamefully been away from LJ. I'll be sending you a private message to inquire after an email address (if you'd still like a code) so that I can send you an invite code though AO3, which is the easiest way to get you an account.

Again, my apologies!

Hey there! I've been looking for an AO3 invite, and I ran into your post while google searching.

I'm not in this community, but I figured I'd ask just in case. I'm about to post for a huge fandom challenge on Monday, and I'd like to be able to cross-post on AO3 to accommodate readers, but I'm wait-listed. Would it be possible to get an invite code, despite not being in your fandom? Thanks! :)

Yes, absolutely. Although people aren't usually on the waitlist for too long, I would be happy to send you an invitation code just in case. I'll be sending you a private message asking for your email - just reply to that and I'll get you a code. :)
